MACO Announced Q2 revenue with the growth of 161.5%, surged EBITDA at M 115 baht

MACO announced the performance in Q 2/2019 pushing the growth of revenue continually up to 161.5% representing M690 Baht, EBITDA rising to 14.7% representing M115 Baht YoY resulted from the financial statement merging of Trans Ad Solution Co., Ltd. (“Trans Ad”) and Roctec Technology Limited (“Roctec”) or “Trans Ad”, in August 2018 while the revenue from the full cycle services at M 428 Baht including the revenue from Advertising Media services at M261 Baht.

Mr. Phoon Chiong Kit, CEO of Master Ad (Public) Co., Ltd. or MACO, leader of the outdoor advertising media network revealed that in the past Q, MACO has launched Street furniture advertising Media services in the areas under the poles of BTS newly renovated in the past June. Furthermore, 42 screens of MACO BTS Street-View Digital and 180 screens of MACO BTS Street view Lightbox which have been renovated. In this, the Company expects that such outstanding qualification and efficiency of this new type of media will enable to boost up the revenue of the company in the future.

For the local Development, MACO prepared to increase the proportion of investment in Puncak Berlian Sdn. Bhd. (“PBSB”) to 65% hopefully completes in August 2019. The increase of proportion this time will help the Company fully control and manage PBSB thus, enabling the Company to increase potentiality of selling via Media network of PBSB and develop overseas market channels efficiently. Moreover, PT Avabanindo Perkasa (“Otego”), a sub company of MACO in Indonesia has already kicked off the Advertising Media services in MRT Jakarta while the areas of advertising media for static pictures have totally been reserved in 13 stations. Therefore, it is perceivable that the situation outside the country tends to improve in the second half of 2019.

CEO also cited that “From the abovementioned situations, the Company still targets at the revenue in this year with the growth at 30-35% or in between M2,300 – 2,400 Baht, whereas if we can see the long term growth amid the challenges in the overseas market, the Company still foresee the good business opportunities in ASEAN Region of which the rapid growth is possible. We expect that the strategy in business in the overseas market would be the main issue to enhance the strength to MACO in the future.”
