The Broader Environment

The global AI investment boom continues to accelerate, validating the direction in which we have been building. The solutions we deploy sit directly in this current of structural demand. At the same time, rising geopolitical tensions and energy market volatility have introduced caution into capital expenditure decisions across both the public and private sectors, and we are not immune to that. We have observed early signs of project timeline adjustments in parts of our portfolio and believe it is important to acknowledge this honestly.

An Encouraging External Validation

We were pleased to share that ROCTEC's contribution to MTR Corporation's AI Station Hotline service received a gold medal at the International Exhibition of Inventions Geneva 2026, with the MTR Care App earning a silver medal at the same event.

This is one of the world's most recognised forums for innovation, and the recognition validates both the quality of our AI-enabled solutions and the depth of our partnership with leading transport operators. For our team, it serves as tangible confirmation that our R&D investments are producing work of genuine international standing.

We enter the new fiscal year with measured confidence. Digitalisation and smart city trends remain a structural tailwind, directly aligned with ROCTEC's core focus areas.

Our backlog across Hong Kong and Thailand stays resilient, with long-cycle infrastructure exposure providing meaningful revenue visibility despite broader global uncertainties. Beyond the top line, we expect a clearer improvement in our margin profile as our in-house R&D capability matures, enabling us to meet increasingly sophisticated client demands while improving profitability over time. The recognition of our AI work in Geneva is an early signal of this compounding benefit.
